Purpose:The practice of landscape architecture impacts the health, safety, and welfare of Nebraskan citizens. Landscape architects oversee the physical integrity of public and private exteriors and roff environments and are responsible for designing and planning parks, circulation systems, stormwater management, urban amenities, green roofs, recreational facilities, and sites of historical/cultural importance, ensuring access through adherence to governmental and code compliance and ADA standards.
